Lanzarote is an island rich in culinary culture where you will find typical products of the area, such as a great variety of local fish, the gofio – a kind of flour made from toasted grains, the lapas – limpets, or papas arrugadas con mojo – wrinkly potatoes with mojo sauce – a red (spicy) or green (coriander) sauce.
The wines of this island are also very famous, with Denomination of Origin Lanzarote and, among them, their delicious White wines, made of a volcanic grape unique in the world, which is called Malvasía.
